For 15 years, my mother’s humble momo shop became a destination. People would travel just to experience the flavor, warmth, and care she put into every plate.

When we moved to Kathmandu, the harsh realities of a saturated market took hold. My mother couldn’t compete with big names or mass operations. She worked quietly in a canteen to keep our family afloat — her dream on pause, but never gone.
